I got to see a Boogie in person!

I absolutely LOVE street art. I think it's one of the best forms of art. One day I want to integrate street/graffiti/mural art with art therapy, espically in under developed cities. Chor Boogie is a huge inspiration of mine, he is making the world so pretty.

I go through spray paint so fast, so I'm starting a collection of spray paint cans in which I decorate from time to time. It's so much fun, and they all look so pretty as a whole... I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a wall full @ the end of Spring =)

Could it ever be on earth as it is in Heaven?

I was introduced to The Local Natives & Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros on this day; seeing both preform LIVE. This show is one of the best on record. SO much passion and amazing energy. Don't EVER stop having fun while expressing something creatively. Bands like these excite me and make me realize how contagious and inspiring good positive creative energy can be. I've always been blown away with the fact that you can be in the worst mood ever and listen to a song that resonates with you and your mood dramatically changes, you begin to soak in the good vibes of the music and the energy that is pouring out of the performers and their instruments. Some say it is like medicine for the soul! It brings me back to the healing aspect of music, and makes me thankful for the musicians who give true meaning to their music and who they ARE as individuals. I am so thankful something as amazing as music and art exists on this world. I think every individual should have some form of creative expression in their lives. Something they get EXCITED about!!! COME ON KIDS... let's leave our mark on this world!
